Faculty Presentations and Publications in Conferences

Faculty at the Institute of Public Enterprise regularly present research findings at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, in addition to publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Participation in academic conferences forms a recognised component of faculty research activity and is factored into the annual faculty appraisal process, alongside journal publications, books, and funded research projects.

Faculty-organised and faculty-presented conferences have covered themes such as:

  • Governance, responsibility, and sustainability challenges for emerging economies
  • Corporate social responsibility policies, practices, and regulatory amendments
  • Water resources, climate change, and sustainable livelihoods
  • Muslim personal law and social policy in post-independence India
  • Corporate governance practices in specific industry sectors, delivered for the benefit of executives from public sector enterprises

These conferences are often conducted in collaboration with funding and sponsoring bodies such as the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), and are organised through the Institute’s dedicated research centres, which host international conferences, executive programmes, and capacity-building workshops for academicians, policymakers, and industry practitioners. Through these platforms, faculty contribute to academic discourse, expand the Institute’s research visibility, and engage directly with contemporary policy and industry challenges.
