Dr. Anupama Dubey is an accomplished academician and researcher specializing in Geography, with 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad.
She holds a graduate degree from Allahabad University, an M.Phil and Ph.D. from the Department of Geography, Delhi University, and an ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellowship. Additionally, she has earned an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (SKNMIMS), Mumbai.
Her professional journey includes serving as a faculty member in undergraduate colleges of Delhi University, a Senior Research Analyst for Sarva Siksha Abhiyan at NCERT, Delhi, and actively contributing to academic research and curriculum development. She has authored 10 books, 14 research papers, and contributed chapters to six upcoming textbooks for undergraduate Geography students at Bhim Rao Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad.
Dr. Dubey has played a key role in academic conferences and faculty development programs, having been a Convener of four international and national conferences and Program Co-Director of two Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and Capacity Building Programs (CBD) funded by ICSSR, Delhi. Additionally, she has successfully led two research projects and two consultancy projects funded by ICSSR, NABARD, and the University of North Carolina, in collaboration with IIM Ahmedabad.
Her academic contributions extend to digital education as well—she has scripted and recorded 45 lectures on Economic Geography and Climatology under the MOOCs Scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of Telangana, coordinated by Osmania University.
Beyond her teaching and research roles, she serves as the Joint Coordinator of the Center for Sustainable Development at IPE and is an active member of various professional bodies across India.
