78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS 15TH AUGUST-2024 Organized by Indradhanush-Cultural Club
Independence Day is a day of pride and reflection for every Indian. On August 15th, 2024, the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) joined the nation in celebrating the 78th India’s independence with great enthusiasm and patriotic passion. The event served not only as a tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters but also as an opportunity for the students, faculty and staff to express their love for the nation.
The celebrations began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony. Director Prof S. Sreenivasa Murthy Garu hoisted the tricolour amidst the chanting of national anthem along with Dean Academics Prof Srikanth Garu, Coordinator for Student Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Pillay, faculty, staff and students.
Following the flag hoisting, Director Prof S. Sreenivasa Murthy Garu delivered an inspiring speech and followed by Hindi, Telugu and English speeches by Students. The day further enlivened by a series of cultural performances by the students.
The Independence Day celebrations at IPE were a resounding success, with active participation from students, faculty, and staff. The event not only celebrated India’s rich history but also instilled a renewed sense of responsibility among the students towards contributing the nation’s future. The day ended on a high note, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride and a commitment to work towards the betterment of the country.
