The Institute of Professional Education (IPE) successfully concluded its Summer Internship Program (SIP) for 25 students at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Hyderabad. A certification ceremony was held on June 4th, 2024, at BHEL Hyderabad HRDC, marking the culmination of the internship program. Prof. S. Sreenivasa Murthy, Director of IPE, and Dr. A.S.Kalyana Kumar, IPE’s Internship Coordinator, were present and delivered speeches commending the students’ accomplishments. Mr. Arun Kumar, Head of the Finance Department at BHEL, highlighted the significance of this event as the first official program involving both academicians and BHEL officials at the HRDC. Mr. Shaishav Kishore Chandra Shah, DGM-Finance, Mr. Bharat Srinayak, Sr. DGM HRDC, Mr. Santosh Kumar, AGM-HRDC had appreciated students’ performance and expressed their happiness about students’ learning abilities, and managers from the Finance department at BHEL all played crucial roles in guiding the students during their internships and were present at the ceremony to celebrate their achievements. This successful collaboration between IPE and BHEL provided valuable real-world experience for the students, further solidifying IPE’s commitment to bridging the gap between academics and industry.
