Faculty Development Program & Financial Literacy Program on November 6th and 7th, 2023
A Faculty Development Program (FDP) for faculties and Financial Literacy Program (FLP) for students was conducted as a collaboration among IPE, NISM and Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund on the topic of “Investing in Capital Markets” at Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana on November 6, and November 7, 2023.
The theme of the FDP and FLP was “Investing for Amrit Kaal – India@100 Years”. The attending faculty members and students were briefed and taken through various sessions on the importance of investing in capital markets and mutual funds to achieve various financial goals, beat inflation and make India ready for Amrit Kaal through sustainable investment. The program was inaugurated in the presence of Shri. Prof. S Sreenivasa Murthy (Director), Prof. V Srikanth (Dean) and Prof. Rama Krishna Yelamanchili (Head, PGDM), Shri. K S Rao from Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Limited and Shri. Kuldeep Thareja from NISM. The program was coordinated by Dr. Swati Mathur and Dr. P Kalyani of IPE.
The sessions were dedicated to investment planning through securities market and mutual funds to enhance the financial literacy of the participants. A total of 146 faculty members and 377 students from diverse streams attended the program.
