The prestigious institution, Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad, India, has organized an International e-Conference on ‘Sustainable livelihoods: Water, Climate Change and Geo-Spatial Development’ in collaboration with Lanka Rain Water Harvesting Forum, Pelawatta, Sri Lanka; Symbiosis Institute of Geo-informatics, Pune, India; and Tarun Bharat Sangh, Alwar, Rajasthan, India during 7th – 8thOctober, 2021. This conference has provide a unique forum for Activists, Academicians, Research Scholars, Students, Experts, and Policy makers from India and Abroad to exchange their views. The invited Speakers are eminent and experienced scholars in their respective domains at international level. Shri Rajendar Singh Ji, President, Tarun Bharat Sangh, Magsaysay Award Winner 2001 and Stockholm Water Prize Winner, 2015, Michal Kravcik, Slovack Environmentalist, Goldman Environment prize Recipient (1999),People and Water NGO, Slovakia, Maude Victoria Barlow, Author of Blue Gold and activist, Toronto, Canada, Dr. GirirajAmarnath, Research Group Leader: Water Risks to Development and Resilience, IWMI, Dr. TanujaAriyananda, CEO, LRWHF, Pelawatta, Sri Lanka, Dr Alexandre Gagnon and Dr. KomaliYennati , U.K. were the eminent speakers during the conference. Besides the galaxy of eminent and most acclaimed scholars, Head of various Departments and organizations will Chair the sessions and deliver talks as panelists. More than 78 research scholars have contributed articles from India, U.K and Sri Lanka. Few among the paper presenters belong to Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), London School of Political and Economic Sciences, Jawaher Lal University (JNU), Delhi University, Hyderabad Central University, Osmania University and many central and state universities from different states of India.

All the papers presented in the conference are of very good quality and appreciated by the Chair and Co-Chair of the Sessions. Papers were presented in eight technical sessions titled, (a) Water Resource (b) Water Quality, (c) Water Conservation and Management, (d)Water Modelling, (e)Water Governance (f) Climate Change (g) Geo-Spatio Developments and (h) Sustainable Development. The session chair and Co-Chair were specialists in the mentioned domains from Delhi University, Allahabad University, Osmania University and Haryana Central University, India. Few of the Session Chairs are also associated with the International Geographic Association (IGU) in different Commissions. The invited Speakers participated from Canada, France, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Sri-Lanka and India.
