International Geographic Union (IGU) – India, International E- Conference on “Implications of Covid-19 On Local & Regional Sustainable Development: A Global Perspective” during 27-28 June, 2020, in Collaboration With IGU – Commissions on Local and Regional Development (LRD), Commission On Geo-Heritage. Prof Srinagesh, Professor, Director, UGC-HRDC, OU and Executive Member, IGU Commission on LRD and Dr Subhash Anand, Delhi University, Executive Member: IGU Commission on Geoheritage the conveners of conference, extended an
invitation to Dr Anupama Dubey, IPE, Hyderabad for chairing a session on “Regional Inequality and Inclusive Development & Food Security, Nutrition and Technology”. She also presented a research paper during the conference on “COVID-19 in India: Impact and responses”, which was highly appreciated. Prof. Yukio Himiyama, President, IGU, Prof. Jerzy Banski, Chair, IGU Commission on LRD and Prof. R.B. Singh, Secretary General, IGU inaugurated the conference.
