Short Bio

Dr. Swati Mathur is an accomplished academician, researcher, and corporate trainer, currently serving as Assistant Professor of Finance at the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad. With over 20 years of diverse experience in both academia and industry, she has worked with renowned institutions such as NALSAR University of Law, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and colleges affiliated with Osmania University and JNTU.

Her research interests span financial inclusion, sustainability, gender diversity, and public-private partnerships. She has published extensively in Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC-listed journals, and books from international publishers. She has also won several Best Paper Awards at national and international conferences, including those at IIT Chennai and the University of Hyderabad.

Dr. Mathur has participated in numerous faculty development programs (FDPs) and management development programs (MDPs) at prestigious institutes like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kozhikode, and XLRI. Additionally, she is a certified DEI trainer and member of “Beyond Pinks,” a start-up incubated by NITI Aayog, which focuses on corporate training in gender sensitization and similar topics.

  • Before joining IPE, she was working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management, NALSAR University of law for 4 years. She has also taught the MBA curriculum related to Osmania University and JNTU for 12 years before joining NALSAR. Initially she worked for Reddy’s Laboratories for 2 years before stepping into academics.
