Brief About the Programme :
Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad has been entrusted with the job of conducting a 5-day online training programme on “Effective Procurement Management” scheduled during January 18-22, 2021 for the Executives of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. Prof S Satish Kumar, Coordinator for Training & Consultancy and Dr C V Sunil Kumar, Assistant Professor are the Coordinators for this programme. The participants of the programme are executives nominated from all functional areas of RailTel, with a basic objective being to sensitize a large section of the employees about the Procurement Process, the challenges faced by the procurement team, and the changes brought in by the introduction of new guidelines by the government. Some of the major topics covered in the training programme are listed below :
1. Norms for Procurement, Tenders and Contract Conditions.
2. Bid Management.
3. e-Tendering, Reverse Auction.
4. Attaining proficiency in "Estimation, Evaluation & Execution of Contracts".
