Tourism emerges as one of the globe’s largest and swiftly expanding economic sectors, playing a pivotal role in advancing sustainable development across numerous nations. Simultaneously, it demands meticulous management to ensure a positive impact on local communities, alongside the preservation of the natural and cultural environments it relies upon. In a proactive move to support sustainable development in the Tourism Sector, significant adjustments are deemed essential in current educational practices.
The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) is pleased to organize a two-week Programme tailored for faculty in the field of tourism on “Enhancing Innovative Learning Skills and Teaching Practices in the area of Sustainable Tourism for Teaching Faculty” in the area of Sustainable Tourism for Teaching Faculty Scheduled to occur at the Institute of Public Enterprise, Osmania University Campus, Hyderabad, from December 11th to December 23rd, 2023, this program is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Government of India. The initiative is designed to strengthen the skills of the academic community.
