Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations 2025 – Event Report

1. Introduction
- Ganesh Chaturthi symbolizes wisdom, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles.
- The festival brought together students, faculty, staff, and alumni in devotion and celebration.
- Celebrations were conducted with grandeur from 27th August to 2nd September 2025.
- The festivities began with idol installation and concluded with a grand Visarjan at Shamirpet Lake.
2. Order of Events
- Day 0 (26th August): Idol installation sponsored by Sailee (IPE Alumni); mandap decoration and inaugural aarti.
- Day 1: Main pooja by Dr. Rajkumar Pillay; Evening Diya Lighting Ceremony by students.
- Day 2: Cultural Club pooja and Maha Aarathi.
- Day 3: Faculty pooja by Prof. Abhay Srivastava; Evening Bhajans by students.
- Day 4: Pooja by Prof. Srinivas Murthy; Mehendi event organized by students.
- Day 5: Seniors’ pooja (Batches 2025 & 2026); Evening Bhajans.
- Day 6: Pooja by Prof. V. Srikanth; Games Night organized by students.
- Day 7: Final pooja by Senior Girl Students (Batch 2026); Visarjan pooja by Prof. Lakshmi Kumari followed by campus procession and immersion at Shamirpet Lake.
3. Finance & Organization
- Funds were collectively contributed by students, faculty, and members of the IPE family.
- Expenses for decoration, pooja items, prasadam, and events were managed transparently.
- Key organizers included Varun Kodangal, Rishi Kori, Abhiseka Dash, Saiee, Ashrita Sarma, Vikas (Logistics), and the Cultural Club of IPE.
